The Transcendentalist Connection

Many believe that the golden era of Unitarian thought was reached during the time of our connection with the transcendentalists. Clearly, transcendentalists such as Ralph Waldo Emerson, William Ellery Channing, and Theodore Parker heavily influenced Unitarian thought around the role of the Divine, as well as our current stance with political activism. Please join us this morning as we explore a part of our rich history and also consider what these giants still have to teach us at UU Petaluma.

Please plan to stay after the service for lunch, and then for our annual Time & Talent Auction! Free all you can eat taco/burrito bar! Lively dessert auction! Silent auction of time/talents/services/events and more!
Come join us for a fun day to build community, raise funds and work towards our mission to welcome all to: Live your sacred, Transform through love, Act with courage.
