What Might the Trinity Mean to Us These Days?

Historically, Unitarians broke with other Protestant and Catholic Christian traditions based on our understanding and belief that God is One, and not divisible into a Trinity. Today, in the spirit of heresy which we so love, we welcome into our pulpit the Rev. Canon Mary Goshert, an Episcopal priest, the first woman ordained to the priesthood in Northern California, and the first woman in California to be called as rector (lead pastor) for a parish. She will speak to an understanding of the Trinity that might just resonate with us UUs today, and will share something of the path that led her from a Quaker upbringing into the Episcopal priesthood.
