with special guest Worship Leader Shari Woodbury, Worship Associate Nate Makdad, and musician Aidan Manousos.
As we gear up for Our Whole Lives (OWL) sexuality education for our middle schoolers, guest in the pulpit Shari Woodbury muses on why it matters that we talk about sex and sexuality, at every age and stage of life – and at church. Come see what all the fuss is about.
If Shari’s name sounds familiar, she was active in UUP and its choir when she lived in Petaluma in 2005-2006, before she entered ministry. She now lives in Omaha, Nebraska, with her spouse and teen, where she serves First Unitarian Church of Omaha as its settled minister. Shari is back in Petaluma as part of a reconnection road trip during her sabbatical. Beyond her local ministry, she writes about savvy seeking in general, and UU roots & wings in particular, on Medium and on her ministry web site.
