Our Minister is available for confidential conversations in times of spiritual questioning and exploration, as well as times of illness, grief and other life crises or transitions. Just having a time and space to share what is going on can help ease confusion and isolation. To set up a time to talk speak with our minister in person, or send an emailor give a call (510-848-0721). The Caring Circle works with our minister to organize practical support when members are ill, welcoming a new baby or just need some special attention. Help can come as meals or rides, having a visit or suggestions for connecting with community services. Each year the Caring Circle invites congregants to sign up to offer help. We reach out to help take care of each other. There is no need to go through tough times alone.
What comes next, after we have given thanks? Does gratitude lead to action, or is it an end in itself? Come explore some post-Thanksgiving thoughts as we gives thanks and then consider what could, would, or should follow.
