Rev. John just celebrated another birthday and is at work on yet another book! This one is called Something Left Over: A Memoir of Ministry. It contains not only some delightful tales of how he found joy in ministry, but also this piece of wisdom: “Everyone is capable of leadership – or ministry. Leadership is nothing more than having something left over after taking care of yourself, to care for others, and for the causes and Beloved Community we all long for.”
