As Thanksgiving approaches, we’ll celebrate the power of community by telling the old folk tale “Stone Soup.” The story reminds us how community can pull us from our scarcity mindsets, luring us into acts of generosity and lovingkindness, bringing us both joy and a sense of gratitude. And empowering us, in Beloved Community, to address the great inequities of society with love and compassion. We’ll follow the service with a potluck lunch of soup and bread, organized by Emily Pino-Williams.
