Let My People Go: The Meaning of Passover
Joyce Tischler and Ellen Beeler, Worship Associates will lead a participatory service.
The practice of slavery represents humanity at its worst. From ancient times to the present, people have oppressed others for economic or political gain. During Passover, Jews celebrate their ancestors’ exodus from bondage in Egypt, but slavery still persists in many cultures today.
Please bring a quote, a poem, or a thought to share with us as we spiritually connect with the experiences of slaves throughout history and their struggles to gain the basic right and dignity of freedom.
