“Imagining a World with Peace, Liberty and Justice for All”

Worship Associate: Joyce Tischler

This is an interactive/participation service.

Our Sixth UU Principle is arguably the most challenging and idealistic one: the goal of world community with peace, liberty and justice for all. What do we mean when we say that we believe in this Principle? Is it outdated or unrealistic? Are humans capable of living peaceably? Can the peoples of the world liberate themselves from conflict and oppresssion?

It is a belief in Principle #6 that had led many UUs to be at the forefront of social justice movements. Please join us with a story, a thought or a question, as we explore how we, as UUs, can help to create this beloved world community of which we all dream.
