Do you ever ask yourself just how you are really doing? How you would appraise your experience, not according to some external measure like income or possesions, but according to your sense of whether you foster an openness to the forces that create and uphold life? I wonder if what we are “good” at or what we are compelled spiritually to strive toward are expressions of what the world needs from us. Today we consider what talent really is, and how we use it, and what accountability we have to the universe–during our moment in time–for our individual and collective gifts.
And then plan to stay after the service and participate in the Time and Talent Auction, our annual rousing community event and fundraiser.
