Minutes from the July 12^th meeting were approved.

Correspondence: Larry Robinson and Dan Robinson each donated $1270 to UUP on behalf of the estate of their mother Adina Robinson from UUCM.

1. Infrastructure:
   1. Board / Leadership retreat: Will take place on Saturday, Sept. 18th at the Hilton in Santa Rosa thanks to William Pagan. David Dodd will construct a committee to plan the retreat.

2. Treasurer's Report
   1. Naomi Davis requested permission to hire an accountant on a consulting basis to help with setting up a payroll system for our new employee. Approved.
   2. Naomi Davis requested permission to spend $20/month for a Quickbooks payroll accessory. Approved.
   3. The board authorized Naomi to enlist the help of Idalia Pagan as a bookkeeping assistant.

3. Facilities / Nuts and Bolts
   1. Piano possibility: Greg will contact the Women's Club about bringing in a new piano.
   2. Christian Science facility readiness: Jennine is working on it.

4. RE update
   1. DRE search process: Jennine reported that five candidates were interviewed over the phone and three will be interviewed in person and then make their selection. Requested budget for taking the three candidates to dinner with Search Committee. Approved. The search committee will meet with the board to present their selection on September 2nd for approval. The Hiring Committee, consisting of David Dodd, Greg Davis and Terilyn Bench, will then do the background check and final negotiations on salary, benefits, etc.
   2. The RE Committee will be responsible for planning the first couple of weeks of September and planning the welcome party for the new DRE on the 25th.

5. Membership/Outreach update
   1. Directory: In progress
   2. David made a purchase of pamphlets from the UUA bookstore.

6. Worship update: There are three new members on the worship committee.

7. Stewardship update: The Stewardship Committee is on hiatus for the summer. They will meet on Sept. 9th to start up again for the year.
