UUP Congregational Meeting Minutes
1. UUP President David Hathaway called the meeting to order. A meeting agenda and a flier with community events listed were distributed. Committee chairs and the RE Director each gave a brief report.
2. Election of new Board members. Diana Spaulding was nominated and elected unanimously to the position of representative on the Board of Trustees, for a term of three years.
3. Three people were elected to be the new nominating committee: Adee Swansen, Elaine Ellsworth, and Lara Abel.
4. David Dodd gave a presentation on the possibility of writing a Chalice Lighter’s Grant from the PCD in order to pursue the weekend ministry program. The congregation will need to get behind this initiative in order for us to receive the grant. Our goal is to have at least half our members pledge at least $10 for each Chalice Lighters “call” for funds.
5. The congregation voted to approve the new budget for 2006-2007.
