UUP Founders are Blessed by
UUCM Founders
Four of the founding members of UUP were previously members
of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Marin, and on June
16, 2002, a Rite of Blessing was performed at UUCM to honor them.
Two of UUCM's founders from 50+ years ago, Adina Robinson and
Ken McKinnon, assisted in the ceremony. The full text of the
Rev. Terry Kime's Rite of Blessing can be found below.

Unitarian Universalists of Petaluma Founders
President:
Diana, David, KC and Christian, we are grateful for all you have
given our community. We will miss you. Though you go to create
a new religious home, know that our door -- this home -- always
remains open to you.
Congregation:
We are grateful for your enthusiasm and ambition in establishing
a new Unitarian Universalist congregation. Becoming founders
is a serious and important undertaking. We honor this commitment
you are making to spread our Unitarian Universalist message of
welcome and love.
Minister:
May you find joy and abundant inspiration on the road ahead,
and may all your challenges be met with stout hearts. May courage
and a sense of humor be your companions, and may our liberal
religious faith sustain you on your journey.
Congregation:
You will always be a part of us. We honor your courage and vision.
We bless you and send you on your way with our love and continuing
support. Go forth and multiply!
