Rev. Mary Foran is a 2010 graduate of Starr King School for the Ministry, and was ordained into the Unitarian Universalist ministry in December 2011. She began her ministry at UUP in August 2011. Her rich experience includes work as a community health organizer, a public health administrator, and a musician.

The ministry I hope for will include joyous worship, filled with music and movement, words and silence. It will nurture compassionate community where listening is prized and learning for all ages is routine. It will foster the exploration and experimentation necessary to thrive in a multicultural world. The ministry I hope for will support building personal and organizational relationships that foster social and economic justice in the communities surrounding the congregation.

Above all this ministry will be a partnership with lay leaders and the entire congregation to envision and embody a Unitarian Universalist engaged presence in the world.
