Petaluma "Butter & Egg Day"
Parade 2003
UUP built a float for the parade and won 1st Place
in the "General Floats" category!
Amy, Bailey and Kim lead the way with UUP's new kid-designed
banner.
Our float: chicken wire over PVC tubing, covered with LOTS of
tissue paper.
The general theme for this year's parade was "Take Flight,"
commemorating the first airmail run from Petaluma to Santa Rosa.
UUP chose a "Peace Doves Taking Flight" theme to decorate
our float.
We wore "dove" costumes and flapped our arms!
A truly intergenerational event.
